INSTRUCTIONS

1. A file can have a maximum of 498 parts. This has several implications:
   
   1. mp3DirectCut will not READ in more than 498 parts/tracks from a CUE file - will give error.
   2. mp3DirectCut will not WRITE more than 498 parts to an MPD file.
   Workaround:
   Use fixcue.pl script (needs ActivePerl installed). It will split CUE file into chunks of (by default) 300 tracks/chunk but you can specify the number with
   --cuesplit number argument (run with --help to see all the options).
   Note: Don't make the number too close to 498 or you won't have "space" to edit the file!
   
2. A file can be a maximum 1.6GB in size (fmg: I've worked on many 1.2GB files without a problem!):
   
   1. mp3DirectCut will read the file and allow you to select but playing may fail
   2. Above about 1.9GB, select will fail and mp3DirectCut will be inoperable
